Project Updates November 2019

October saw the Grand Opening of our brand-new Gaming Lounge. The lounge features advanced Cash Retrieval Terminals, a sleek marble cashier desk, brand-new machine bases and chairs, digital signage, modern light fittings and features. Though we aren’t finished there. An extended section of the Gaming Lounge will also be opening in early December.

We are pleased to reveal the name of your new Café/Bar… Estaminet.
Set to open February 2020.

The French word “estaminet” was frequently used before the First World War and referred to a drinking establishment where you could have a drink and smoke.

What to look forward to at Estaminet…

Estaminet will be a contemporary café during the day transitioning to a cocktail bar in the evening. Whilst providing a modern offer, it will incorporate décor highlighting the historical elegance of Northwestern Europe in the early 1900’s and the rustic charm of the estaminets of Northern France & Belgium which provided soldiers with much needed respite from the Western Front.

General Updates

• The 2nd Lift is due to be commissioned in December.
• The new Foyer and Memorial are on track to be complete by Christmas.
• The Club Façade will be complete in February 2020.
